I am back...and burnt. Today was an interesting day. I had a field trip to Harrisburg to see the Senators play the Aeros. Mom came with me, so that made it all the more interesting :] . The charter bus ride was exceedingly interesting, as Mother and I had seated ourselves near the front of the bus. Directly behind our seat was a part of a clan bearing the name "The Video Game Geeks". Yes, the entire hour and a half ride was equivalent to the following and more not mentioned...
Geek 1- I finally made it to the (What?) level!
Geek 2- Oh, I already beat that one.
1-Is it easy?
2- That's the easiest one! What upgrade do you have, anyway?
Geek 3- Hey, look, he's (Geek 2) going up the steps to the final level!
1- Woah! Already!
2- Must...kill...demons!
(1 and 3 gape in awe at 2's powerful thumb movements)
2- Must...reach...top of...steps...
(Sweat pours from Geek 2's glands)
1- He's almost there!
(3 remains awed)
2- Almost...almost...AHHH! Another demon!
1- Oh no! (accidentally bumps 2's game from the side)
2- Hey! Now what happened...my screen's blank... Geek 1... if its broken you're lucky that Aaron has to pay for it. Ok, here we go again. You know, I was about to save my game and YOU had to bump my game.
1- Gee...I'm real sorry there, Geek 2.
2- As I said: you're lucky.
3- Good goin' there, Geek 1.
1- I said I was sorry!
Etc, etc, etc...
So that was not exact, but close enough...we heard similar conversations on the ride home.
Mom kept making her turtle face. It looks like a turtle sometimes when she wants to laugh but knows she shouldn't...teehee :-9
Ok, so then we got to the ball park, which was simple, yet clean and fun. We had a rather uneventful lunch, except for Shane (second bestest buddy*) pretending that his only friend was a post originally used to hold up a fence because there was no more room at the picnic table to sit with us. He's rather odd and I believe he should recieve some form of help a.s.a.p.
The baseball game was boring near the end, but around the 5th inning Shane was feeling light-headed and Quinn (his girlfriend and one of my best friends) was starting to look like a tomato. So was I.
I have no idea which team won because we left at the top of the 9th, but I kinda was rooting for the one and only purple team (the Aeros) because they were winning.
Also during several times throughout the game, I created short intervals to go beg Mother for Svedish Fish and also vor an ize pop (some green flavor) and Mountain Dew because Michael** knocked my Vitamin Water off the bleachers into a black hole beneath us. He offered to go buy me a new one, which Mother says is the gentlmanly thing to do, but fortunately I only had a sip left so it really didn't matter.
So, an eventful day, yet typical as far as Shane and Quinn go.
I got sunburnt pretty badly but I feel worse for Mother because her arms got all burnt up and she's ceratain that they shall indeed be immobile by tomorrow :[ .
I can feel the skin around my eyes are most likely going to peel. That will be extremely McBad.
For cousin's sake I will dub it "majorly intense burning at the ball park".
*Shane is my best-friend-at-school, Quinn's boyfriend, so he has proclaimed him and myself second bestest buddies.
** Previous interest, but me no like no more.
SUBLIME!!!
