Coincidences Are My New Favorite Situations

The things that pop up in my life are pretty strange, and not always worth talking, much less blogging about. Situation 1.....

At around seven years of age, I was introduced to the Star Wars movies. My favorite was The Phantom Menace . This was mainly because I thought Anakin was cute (I must have been boy crazy at an early age...at least I'm not anymore....I don't think...). My favorite character, though, was Qui Gon Jin, Obi Wan Kenobi's master. I was so mad that he had to die. It was so sad...

Now, 5 or so years later, I find out that Qui Gon was played by the one and only...

LIAM NEESON!!!!!!!!

That struck me as being a worthy Narnian coincidence. Situation 2...

It's Narnia Day!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting forever for today, which is doubly special (here comes the coincidence) because it is also my 1/2 birthday!

I freaked out when I realized it!

I spent my Narnia Day at the mall, shopping for an Easter/Confirmation dress. I found a gorgeous dress...though it was pretty pricey...and great shoes to go with it. Lasarleen would be jealous :)

Most of the time I'm an Aravis type. Ask Anna, she'll confirm that, but I have my days when I feel more girly girl...not quite to the extent of Lasarleen, but perhaps Lucy-ish would be more like it. While trying on the cute shoes, Mum told me that Anna and I would be sharing a confirmation party, which MADE MY DAY!

I am really having a good day, and I am soooooo excited for this coming April.

I love you all!

  1. I TOTALLY CELEBRATED NARNIAN DAY TODAY! I watched Prince Caspian on my way to and back from my cheer competition, until I got sick (I think I have a fever) and I had to watch the end at home. Then I watched The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and recited a lot of the lines along with it. (FYI- Tigers placed third, even with a stunt group out fo the game.) Still looking for a Confirmation dress, and I feel really hot right now. OK, I love you so much and I want so, so, so badly to get to Narnia and go on an adventure right now. Hehe...

  2. I am desperate for something other than homework! I miss you sooooo much... I hope we're sharing our Confirmation party! I'll hopefully see you at the play. You DO NOT want to see my princess gown: it is so unflattering and ugly and un-Narnian its unbearable!

  3. Happy Narnia Day, El! :) Have a happy Confirmation party as well!

That was a lame rhyme. Didn't mean it to be...

  4. Hahaha The party is a week or so away but thanks, Viola!

Your princess gown is NOT very bad, Anna. If the trim was silver you wouldn't mind so much. You did great, darling.
