Thoughts

Shimmer, Glitter, Gleam
High in the sky stars climb.
As Radiant as can be, for
It's only a matter of time.

Harmony, Melody, Tune
Lays of old I sing.
Music wrapping around words
For you, there, listening.

Smile, Chuckle, Laughter
Your eyes shining bright.
You know it has to last,
for soon hope turns to plight.

Change, Transform, Metamorphosis
Crawl no more, you fly.
Soaring high above me,
Before the daylight dies.

Hug, Clasp, Embrace
I hold you in my arms.
You can cry on me, for
you've suffered many harms.

Murmur, Rumor, Whisper
The news has reached my ears.
There'll be dancing, but just for now,
for there will still be fears.

Forever, Eternity, Endure
How hard a life it would be.
To live on and on in an imperfect world,
Never to rest in peace.

But lo! He'll come!
He'll come back, after the end.
Carrying us up,
all our scars He'll mend.

Home, Harmonize, Belong
I'll come up and further in.
My dark past is behind me,
A quiet shatters the din.

A thousand trumpets calling,
though not distressing my ears.
I finally hear music,
The truest in my years.

There is no pain, no suffering,
I'm here with you at last.
There will be love and perfection,
No present, future, or past.

The Alpha, Omega,
Glorious Lamb and Lion.
King and Servant, guiding us,
the children of Zion.







This poem didn't turn out at all how I had thought. In fact, it's better than I imagined!
Enjoy, and Happy Easter once again! I got into a poetic mood, so I figured I'd share my thoughts with you.
