My favorite Pevensie is most definitely Edmund. Not only because Skandar Keynes is really really really really cute, and handles a sword like a real Narnian, but because Edmund's character is the most developed in my opinion. You get to see his repentance change his entire attitude. He becomes a knight (in shining armour), and a gentleman. He is always looking out for his family, and, by the Mane, he has the most pleasant disposition! I can't get over how kind and helpful he is! Wow................... OK, topic 3!
Thanks to Viola/the Lady Fireflower for adding a link to my blog on her beautiful, inspiring blog! I am so honored! Unfortunately, the comments section on her blog is disabled, but I can tell her from here, that (if she decides to read), that I absolutely love her fanfic, and Anna and I have had many laughs over it. We actually met a "Squeaky King" at a forensics meet (Congrat's on 6th place, Anna darling, though I think you deserved higher!) and he was actually kinda nice.......yeah. And we have referred to Su's pimple problem several times.....and "beastly" has become a regular vocabulary word. By the way, Braxtany is SUCH AN AMAZING NAME! WOW! If you haven't guessed by now, Anna and I are best friends, and yes, we do know eachother, and yes we live in the same town, and yes we stay up all night with our crazy "Warlocks at One" fanfic brainstorming slumber parties, but slumber rarely works itself into the party :)
We have written one amazing fanfic book as a joint effort, and we are now on the sequel! I don't believe we plan on sharing it with the public, unfortunately. Anna is 2 or 3 months older than me, and our vocabulary is quite expansive for our age. I am constantly bombarded with people saying that I need to get a life and that Narnia isn't worth it, but I say that Narnia is my thing, they have their own interests. Racing is my friend Rusty's thing, the Red Sox, however much I hate them, are Sam's thing, and Rocky Balboa is Shane's thing. I could go through an entire list of my friends' crazy interests, but none could never be as weird and different as Narnia. I love it, and it's my thing. Anna's thing. Most likely Viola's thing. It rocks. That's all folks! Thanks to Kat for offering to read my blog today!!!!!!!!!
Indeed! No matter how much we both hate the Red Sox (sorry, Joe, but I do), no matter how much Phil hates Narnia (I'm still fuming), no matter what comes our way, we are together forever! I love you so much, dearie. Love, Anna
ReplyDeletePS- You know you've been reading wayyyyyyy too much Narnia when you insult your sister by calling her 'a beast'.
PPS or PSS, whichever- Phil still thinks he's in the fanfic book. He thinks a lot of things... As much as I love your family, I was ready to pound his head in by the end of yearbook.
ReplyDeleteIt is TOTALLY my thing, El. ;) Really love this post.
ReplyDeleteA) Thanks! Really glad you enjoyed the fic. As for Braxtany, I just googled 'cool baby names' and went to this site, where Braxtany was the girl name of the day. :P I used generators a LOT when I was writing TCoA...
B) My comments are disabled due to some problems I was having on another site. My sister and I were being targeted because of our Christianity, and we shut down comments on my blog as a precaution.
C) Thank YOU for first following my site, allowing me to find out about yours! You and Anna are amazing writers, and I look forward to keeping up with your blogs! :)
